Earlier this month, more than 1,000 books donated by the RCDS community arrived at Wema Children's Centre in Kenya, a community-based organization that provides over 500 children with a loving home, three nutritious meals a day, and an education at a high performing local primary and secondary school.
Like many community and learning organizations around the world, Wema is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but thanks to the large library, students were able to check out books, and they are enjoying reading them at their families' homes.

There was a special ceremony at a local university before the books were brought back to Wema Children's Centre and placed in the library.
