Meet Mike Stanitski, Upper School English teacher. Mr. Stanitski is new to RCDS this year. He earned an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, an M.A. in English literature from Middlebury College, and he taught previously at Hackley School and Sacred Heart in Greenwich. In between his time at Hackley and Sacred Heart, Mr. Stanitski earned a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and practiced law for several years, focusing on litigation, as well as white-collar criminal defense and investigations. He also taught Legal Writing at Fordham. Last summer, Mr. Stanitski and several of his rowing teammates from college completed a non-stop, 50-mile hike through the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
