An essential part of citizenship, the RCDS theme of the year, is knowing how to engage in difficult conversations around charged topics. Thanks to the generosity of the Kleinbard Family Endowment for Professional Development, RCDS faculty, staff, and administrators participated in an after-school workshop facilitated by social-emotional learning specialist and mediation expert Carla Pugliese during which they practiced strategies for teaching students how to navigate courageous conversations.
